Our Housekeeping Manager Amelia comes to us with 27+ years of experience in team management & team building and housekeeping management. Amelia works hand and hand with her staff to be sure that not even the smallest detail is overlooked. She reaches for only the highest standards in all aspects of housekeeping, from linen and beds, to floors and carpets. If you have any questions or concerns please never hesitate to reach out to her for a quick resolution. Amelia's goal is the same as the entire motel staff -

Rosa is experienced (20+ years) in all areas of Housekeeping and her work speaks for it's self. Keeping only the highest standards in all areas is her top priority. Working hard and making sure each guest has a wonderful experience and a sanitized environment is her top priority. Day in and day out she makes sure that no detail is missed when it comes to making our rooms some of the cleanest and most comfortable in Winnemucca. Rosa is lead in our Laundry Department and also lends her skills in Housekeeping when needed.
Amelia V is also experienced in all areas of Housekeeping and her work speaks for it's self. Keeping only the highest standards in all areas is her top priority. She works very hard making sure each guest has a wonderful experience and a sanitized environment. Amelia is a true asset to our team.
Luz is our newest team member in training and is doing a wonderful job. She is working hand and hand with our experienced staff . We are thrilled to have her on our team.
Maintenance
Introducing Jose, Geraldo, and Paulo, all 3 have amazing skills, years of experience and have already improved the property beyond our wildest dreams.
Their tasks were many due to the horrible mess the previous maintenance team left behind (example: the pool, plumbing and so much more). What they have been able to repair in just 3 months has been nothing short of a miracle and our entire team will be enterally grateful for all their hard work and dedication.
If you need anything in the way of towels, coffee, extra blankets, cups, soap, shampoo, etc. during your stay please do not hesitate to ask any of our staff and they will be more than happy to assist you. The office staff is also available to help in any way possible to be sure your stay is the best it can be. Thank you in advance for your business and we hope to see you again soon!!!!
Please note we do not have 24 hour housekeeping, our hard working staff is on site from 9:00am to between 1pm and 2pm 7 days a week.. They are excited to assist you in any way they can so please do not hesitate to ask.
Our General Manager - Merry
Merry has over 55 years experience in business from running business to being a business owner herself for many years. After being the office manager at Scott Shady Court for 5+ years, she was promoted to the GM position one and a half years ago. In the past year many upgrades have been implemented one of which was the restoration of the beautiful swimming pool which is heated and enclosed. Merry believes that customer service is a top priority and instills that in all her staff. Each our guests are greeted with similes and the willingness to strive to make sure each guests stay is a outstanding one. Merry lives on site and can be reached 24 hours per day with any questions, concerning or assistance. Many additional updates and changes will be coming in 2026, including a food truck, special summer events, movie nights, cookouts and new BBQ grills on the property. Please check the website for dates, times, and events. Merry would like to say thank you to all our regualar guests and hello to all the new guests she hopes will be our regulars in the future.
